If you are staying in El Poblado (a.k.a Zona Rosa) area

It will take you about 35minutes to go from Poblado to Minorista. You will use the Metro (trains) and the MetroPlus (buses).

In POBLADO metro station, buy 2 trips per person, say you are going to Minorista. Make sure they give you the plastic card ticket*

Take the metro towards Niquia. Try to enter into the middle wagon. Get off at the 7th station, called HOSPITAL.

At the Hospital metro station, transfer to the MetroPlus (bus station just below the metro station. You do not need to leave the metrostation). On the platform, look for turnstiles where you'll use your plastic card ticket* to transfer to the MetroPlus system.

Take the MetroPlus bus 'Line 1' (L1) in direction ‘U de M’, and get off at the 3rd station, named MINORISTA.

Wait for your guide at the ticket booth that will be on your right side after exiting the bus. That will be the SOUTH ticket booth of the Minorista MetroPlus.

* Please note that normal one-way paper tickets are not valid for the MetroPlus. Instead, please make sure to ask for a plastic card ticket at the ticket booth of the metro station, which you can top up with as many trips as you would like. You can say that you are going to MINORISTA using Metro Plus “A la minorista usando el Metro Plus”.
Although Minorista station is in walking distance from Prado and Parque Berrio stations, we do not recommend walking between them, as this area can be quite dodgy.
